Nichelle Holliday hails from Pasadena, California. This Spelman College graduate has made an active contribution to the renaissance of Black literature and spoken word artists. Her success as a producer and performer are reflected in a monthly poetry and jazz showcase that she hosted in the San Gabriel Valley throughout 2003. She has performed on the stages of the Schomberg Museum in Harlem on the east coast, as well as the J. Paul Getty Museum on the west coast here in Los Angeles. Her spoken word and music CD, Rose Colored Glasses," features jazz artists Lesa Terry, Nedra Wheeler, Muyungo Jackson, Rahmlee and Louis Taylor, Jr. Her creative essence is also captured in selections on Lesa Terry's , "A City Called Heaven," CD.
