Ann King- was born and raised in Oakland, and has worked with the foremost artists in the jazz and pop fields worldwide. To her credit she has played in such big bands as Maiden Voyage, Don Menza, Frank Sinatra Jr., Les Hooper, Roger Neumann and Buddy Childers, along with pop artists like Hal Linden, Ray Charles, Celia Cruz, and on more than one occasion at the Playboy, Monterey, Laguna, Sedona, Pheonix, Concord, and Billy Taylor Jazz Festivals, and the Kennedy Center Washington D.C. She has played for BET Live, Who’s Line Is It Anyway?, the Tonight Show (Johnny Carson) with Maiden Voyage and the Tonight Show (Jay Leno) with Michael Feinstein, Victoria Williams and Lou Bega. Ann has Movie and T.V. recording credit with “Even Cowgirls get the Blues”, Blue Chips, The Player, E! Entertainment, Breaker High, Ford, Chrystler, Acura, Southwest Airlines and Lexus, and has Movie and Television sidelining on Roseanne, Totally Hidden Video, The Rat Pack and others.
