Suzanne Morissette is an all around gifted drummer and percussionists. Her talents include tympani, vibraphone, marimba and xylophone. Her lifelong love of music is enhanced by formal studies and a Masters in Percussion from the renouned Conservatory of Music in Quebec, Canada and additional studies at the Percussion Institute of Technology, Hollywood, Ca. where she graduated with honors. Thus this instrumental woman has a broad-based knowledge of music in general with in-depth understanding of the role of percussion. Suzanne has been a member of the well known York Quartet for ten years. To her long list of credits some of her live performances include the Catalina Jazz Trax Festival, Lake Arrowhead Jazz Festival, Long Beach Jazz Festival, the 2nd Women's Jazz Festival in Tokyo just to name a few. She also has extensive theater, studio recording as well as radio and television experience.
