Makeda Kumasi – Urban Idol Top Spoken Word Artist; Black Business Expo 2004. As a Writer, Speaker and Performance Artist she has electrified crowds nation wide with her refreshing words and inspiring movements.  This M.F.A. from the University of Southern California has written and produced several plays including her thesis play “Daddy’s Little Girl” as well as works for children. As Co-Founder of WE 3 PRODUCTIONS Makeda has created an outreach program that teaches young children and teens the art and technology of Entertainment. She has been featured at various Spoken Word venues including The World Stage in Leimert Park, Los Angeles and the Conga Room in Hollywood. Being named a young Maya Angelou, Makeda continues to speak truth into poetry.
